Archetype is the most primal and pristine exemplar in its form. It’s a part of the storytelling, that has been around from the dawn of time. Since the pre-literature origin of culture. Some see archetypes as the Platonian idea, others- group of symbols and meanings, using the ‘backdoors’ to human consciousness. Archetypes act on us, even if we are not aware of their existence. Writers are well-aware of them and make use of those.
