Additional tips can also be found by each field in the application form.<\/strong><!--more--><\/p>\n<h3><strong>WHAT IS A LECTURE\/WHY PROPOSE A PROGRAM EVENT?<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>A lecture is normally done by one or more persons on a subject they propose. So if you want to share your knowledge on any fantasy-related subject with the participants of Pyrkon &#8211; you\u2019re in the right place.<\/p>\n<h3>HOW TO PROPOSE A LECTURE?<\/h3>\n<p>All you have to do is go through our FAQ and find a link at the bottom of the page to a dedicated form created exactly for that purpose.<\/p>\n<h3>WHEN IS THE DEADLINE FOR PROPOSING PROGRAM EVENTS?<\/h3>\n<p>The form will be available on our website until March, 11th 2020.<\/p>\n<h3>HOW LONG SHOULD THE LECTURES BE?<\/h3>\n<p>A standard lecture is 45-50 minutes long, thanks to the fact that they all start on the hour, it leaves 10-15 minutes for the participants to leave the room and new ones to enter. For the Kids Section and the Beginners Section, a standard lecture is 20 minutes long, as is the case with Lightning Talks in the Role-Play Zone.<\/p>\n<h3>WHAT INFORMATION SHOULD I PROVIDE IN THE FORM?<\/h3>\n<p>You\u2019ll find tips for every field once you hover the cursor over the question mark next to it.<\/p>\n<h3>WHAT SHOULD I PREPARE FOR THE LECTURE?<\/h3>\n<p>You should have all the materials you will be using during your lecture on you: a presentation, printouts, dice etc.<\/p>\n<h3>HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN GIVE A LECTURE?<\/h3>\n<p>If it\u2019s a regular lecture, we suggest two speakers. Our experience shows that such talks are more dynamic and prove to be more appealing for the participants. The maximum number of speakers giving one lecture is 4. If you have a more elaborate activity in mind, please e-mail the proper section manager directly to discuss the details.<\/p>\n<h3>WHAT DO I GET IN RETURN FOR A LECTURE?<\/h3>\n<p>One full lecture hour grants you a 50% discount on the price of a full ticket, to be divided among all the speakers.<\/p>\n<h3>DO WE ALL GET THE DISCOUNT?<\/h3>\n<p>The 50% discount is allocated to one program event, and it can be distributed among the lecturers arbitrarily.<\/p>\n<h3>DO THE DISCOUNTS ADD UP?<\/h3>\n<p>Yes, but they cannot exceed 100%.<\/p>\n<h3>WHAT DISCOUNTS ARE GRANTED TO LARP HOSTS?<\/h3>\n<p>Discounts for LARP hosts are granted individually.<\/p>\n<h3>MY PROPOSAL CONTAINS A MISTAKE\/I WANT TO MAKE CHANGES IN MY PROPOSAL. HOW DO I DO IT?<\/h3>\n<p>In case there is a need to make a correction, please contact the manager of the section you sent your proposal to. The manager\u2019s e-mail address can be found in a confirmation e-mail which you received after submitting the form.<\/p>\n<h3>I HAVE TO CANCEL MY PROGRAM EVENT. HOW DO I DO IT?<\/h3>\n<p>Let us know as soon as possible! Send an e-mail to program(at)pyrkon.pl &#8211; it will require us to find a replacement from a standby list.<\/p>\n<h3>I FILLED IN THE FORM\/PROPOSED A PROGRAM EVENT. WHAT NOW?<\/h3>\n<p>Now you need to give us some time to go through your proposal. Check your e-mail regularly once the form closes.
