The Own Design Competition is a competition for creators of all those phenomenal costumes that may, but don\u2019t have to, be cosplay! Do you create your own outfits and portray characters of your choice? Are you inspired by books, films, or other works of pop culture? Or perhaps you design costumes based on your own original ideas? The Original Design Contest is just for you!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are accepting your submissions until June 1, 2026 (Monday), 11:59 PM.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Costume designers participating in the competition should present a self-made costume in one of two categories:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The jury\u2019s special prizes<\/strong> are 3 equal prizes, PLN 500 each. They will be awarded based on an individual decision of the juror whose name they bear, and are aimed at distinguishing participants whose works have interesting details, an innovative or creative approach to techniques, project coherence or other noteworthy elements worth emphasizing. The prizes in this category are:
\ud83c\udfc6 Anhyra\u2019s award \u2013 PLN 500
<\/strong>\ud83c\udfc6 Bisz\u2019s award \u2013 PLN 500
<\/strong>\ud83c\udfc6 Kuba Dobrenko\u2019s award \u2013 PLN 500<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The \u201cBest Costume Based on Fanart\u201d category<\/strong>, where the made costume is created as a representation of an already existing, graphic vision by another artist (e.g. character fanarts in versions other than the original ones, animal humanizations, combinations of characters from different universes, etc.) The prize in this category is:
\ud83c\udfc6 1st place \u2013 PLN 2,000
<\/strong>\ud83c\udfc6 2nd place \u2013 PLN 1,500<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The \u201cBest Original Costume\u201d category,<\/strong> where the costume is made as a reproduction of the participant\u2019s own design of a character developed by the person making the costume. The reference may be in graphic or literary form, provided that the author of the costume created it personally. The prize in this category is:
