Sandra Recka | retzka.photobricks – master of scenes in bricks<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The coordinator of the LEGO Photographer’s Corner and one of its key figures is Sandra Recka, known online as retzka.photobricks. She is a photographer who has combined her two greatest passions – LEGO\u00ae and photography – to create works full of cinematic flair and extraordinary attention to detail.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
<\/div>\n\n\n\n
Her skills have been recognized at a number of photography competitions, including DEBUTS 2016, a prestigious review of young artists. Although she has been photographing for more than 20 years, in 2023 she fulfilled one of her biggest dreams – she realized a photo assignment for The LEGO\u00ae Groupitself!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
During Pyrkon, you will be able to enjoy both her photos and the builds she is preparing in order to take them. And if you want to learn how to create your own brick photoshoots – be sure to check out the photography workshopshe will lead!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As part of her activity, she presents original scenes inspired by everyday life, which she invents and builds herself. While working on each photo, she takes care of the smallest details and tries to make each photo like a frame ripped straight out of a movie – Anyway, see for yourself:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Tomasz Lasek | Tomek Skog – when the minifigures come to life<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

“Life in plastic? It’s fantastic!” – It is with this quote that we can interpret the work of Tomek Lasek, known online as Tomek Skog. He has been creating LEGO\u00ae photographs for more than a decade, and in his photos he plays with scale and light, but above all tells stories full of emotion and humor.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
<\/div>\n\n\n\n
His photos are often inspired by pop culture, literature and science. Sometimes in photographs the minifigures take trips to other worlds, but in reality they remain on the kitchen table.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As he writes about himself, “I osmotically soak up influences from pop culture, literature and science in the broadest sense, creating a kind of amalgam in my brain, which then ferments into ideas – sometimes surprising even to me. The fruits of these ideas are usually facetious portrayals, although I sometimes smuggle in insights or reflections on the reality around us [or simulacrum, if you will].”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As an active member of the Toy Photographerscommunity, he is also a LEGO\u00ae ambassador for the LEGO Ambassador Networkprogram. In 2019, his work briefly burst outside the fandom bubble when one of his photos – depicting a minifigure version of Olga Tokarczuk, created to celebrate her receiving the Nobel Prize – caught the attention of the mainstream media.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
At Pyrkon, you will see his photo exhibition, which will take you on a journey into the world of minifigures in a whole new light. This is Tomek’s second time visiting Pyrkon, but his first in such a large role.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mateusz Zawadzki | Mattheo33 – a passion that combines LEGO\u00ae and photography<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

He is known in the creative community not only for his extraordinary photographs, but also as the originator and founder of the #AFOLSQUADgroup of LEGO Photography enthusiasts. For him, this hobby is more than just fun – it’s a way to relax after work and realize his childhood dreams of a world built with bricks.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
<\/div>\n\n\n\n
His adventure began with a return to LEGO\u00ae in 2018, when his wife showed him how to take interesting photos with his camera. It was then that he decided to combine these two passions – and as it turned out, it was a success! Since then, he hasn’t parted with either his camera or his bricks, and his collection already has more than 500 minifigures, the oldest of which date back to the 1990s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
His first exhibition took place at a local library, but he scored his real debut on the LEGO\u00ae fan scene during KLOCKON in B\u0119dzin. Since then, he has been constantly experimenting, developing and looking for new and creative ways to capture the block brick in truly emotional frames.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
During Pyrkon 2025, you will be able to see his work at the LEGO Photographers’ Corner, where his photos will sit alongside the work of other enthusiasts. If you’ve ever wondered how to breathe life into plastic figures – this is the perfect place to learn!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
