Here you will find a variety of program events that will make your Pyrkon moments more enjoyable. The Comic Books Zone is not only about lectures and meetings with comic book creators from Poland and abroad, who will talk about how they create fascinating comic book worlds and characters! Definitely not!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you want to explore the history of comics, you will have the opportunity to participate in lectures led by invited guests who will share their knowledge and experience related to this fascinating world. It is also a great opportunity to meet other comic book enthusiasts and exchange insights and favorite titles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At Pyrkon you will also get autographs of your favorite authors, and maybe even illustrations prepared by them!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These meetings will be conducted both by invited Guests and by passionate Pyrkon-goers who share their knowledge and love for comics. Pyrkon lectures are a space for everyone who wants to explore the secrets of drawing stories, learn about the history of the medium or its impact on pop culture and a variety of styles and genres. What can you expect? Countless fascinating topics, inspiring discussions and new perspectives on the world of comics. Whether you are interested in superhero comics, European titles, underground productions or webtoons – you will surely find something you\u2019d enjoy here!<\/span><\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Discussion panels are another indispensable element of the Pyrkon Comic Books Zone. During live conversations, comic book artists and experts meet to exchange knowledge and insights about the art of comics. Such conversations are a great opportunity to get to know the opinions of those, who deal in creating and popularizing comics on a daily basis. You will certainly learn more about the behind the scenes of comic book creation, the work of scriptwriters, cartoonists and publishers, as well as the impact of comics on pop culture and other media. Who knows, you may even be able to join the conversation or ask the panel participants a question that bothers you!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Are you curious about how to prepare a scenario? Want to try your hand at creating your own mini comic? Easy-peasy! We have comic book workshops, i.e. attractions for those who want to switch from theory to practice. Our guests and fantastic speakers will teach you the basics of creating picture stories! So, if you dream of creating your own comic book or want to improve your skills, to the workshops you go!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What about those of you who would like to immerse themselves in their favorite stories or get to know completely new ones? There will be a real treat for you too! Part of hall\u00a0 number 5A will be turned into a comic book reading room, which is a corner where you will find a moment to relax away from the convention hustle and bustle and at the same time borrow comics from a large collection made available just for you! There will be countless stories waiting for you, which will take you on unforgettable journeys to distant worlds, let you meet amazing characters and experience exciting adventures.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Comic Books Zone on the mezzanine in Hall\u00a0 5<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This space can be described as the “heart” of the Comic Books Zone \u2013 it is here that creative energy pulsates, and the passion for comics connects fans with artists. The mezzanine in hall 5 will become a place full of inspiring comic book exhibitions.  But that\u00b4s not all! It is here that you will find booths of Polish creators of Independent Comics \u2013 it is a great opportunity not only to get acquainted with their works, but also to get unique copies of comics straight from the artists. And since plenty is no plague, it  is here that you will be able to get autographs and drawings that our Guests will sign and draw for you at their tables during their autograph signings. It is also worth mentioning that you will also find exhibitions of the Artists and Collectors Alley, which will allow you to feel the spirit of two Program Zones in one place!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Autograph and drawing signings are a unique opportunity to meet your favorite artists face to face and enrich your collection with a valuable, personal touch. Nothing pleases a fan more than the author’s own signature on the beloved comic book enriched with an original outline – that is, a mini sketch made especially for you. To come back with such a valuable souvenir from Pyrkon, it is enough to come to the mezzanine in hall\u00a0 5 during the signing hours of your favorite comic book creator. Who knows, you may even be able to exchange a few words with the artist, ask a bothering question or simply thank them for the inspiring stories they create. Autograph and drawing sessions are free, so feel free to line up!\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
