A real treat for “Baldur’s Gate III” fans – Tim Downie to visit Pyrkon 2025!

Good news for all gamers who simply love “Baldur’s Gate III”! Surely you are familiar with the magician Gale Dekarios? If not, you still have a moment to get to know this character. Because Tim Downie, the very voice of the Baldurian magician, is set to visit Pyrkon this year!
Who is Tim Downie?
Tim Downie is an actor and screenwriter whom you can see in such films as the award-winning “King’s Speech”, “Paddington” and “Les Misérables”. His newest films include “Nandor Fodor and the Talking Mongoose”, where he stars alongside Simon Pegg and Minnie Driver, and “How To Date Billy Walsh” with Sebastian Croft and Charithra Chandran.
Meanwhile, his television credits include award-winning series such as “Peep Show, “Upstart Crow”, “Toast of London”, “Plebs” and “Outlander”. He also starred in the second season of Amazon Prime’s “Good Omens” and together with Nicola Coughlan and Lydia West appeared in “Big Mood” on Channel 4 and in the Netflix series “Geek Girl.”.
Tim Downie is also the co-host and co-author of the popular podcast FolkLands listened to in more than 120 countries around the world.
He made his debut in the gaming world in the unique production “Baldur’s Gate III” – winner of the D.I.C.E.. Awards game of the year title, the BAFTA Game Awards.. In it he played the role of Gale of Waterdeep.
