How to get to Poznań
Poznań is a city well connected to the rest of the country. There are several ways to reach the capital of Wielkopolska.
Train
To check the current train schedule, we recommend using the search engine on the PKP website. To get to the premises of the Poznan International Fair, you should get off at the Main Railway Station. From there, it will be only a few hundred meters to walk.
Bus
We encourage you to use the websites of your local transport companies to check the connections. The PKS Main Bus Station in Poznań is integrated with the PKP railway station, connected by the Avenida shopping center. It doesn’t matter whether to travel with a train or bus – the distance to Poznan International Fair will remain the same.
Car
Of course, you can also come to Poznań by car. However, we warn you that the location of the Fair in the very center of Poznań makes it very difficult to park there. The place you may find will most likely be on a toll parking. Unfortunately, it is not possible to park at the event itself.
Plane
Arriving in Poznan, you will get to the Ławica airport. From there, it takes about 20 minutes to reach the premises of the Poznan International Fair. During the day you can use the bus 59, and at night line 242 – both will take you to the Kaponiera Roundabout. From this stop it is very close to the Poznan International Fair.
Commuting around Poznan
Time tickets are valid in Poznań. You can buy them at vending machines at bus stops and on buses, as well as in kiosks and – in the case of night buses – from the driver. The current timetable can be found on the official website of the Public Transport Authority. 24-hour tickets validated on Friday after 20.00 are valid until Sunday at 00:00.
The portal www.jakdojade.pl also works in Poznań, which will certainly help you navigate through public transport.
