Time for more music announcements!
3 April 2026
On the stages of Pyrkon you will hear both heavy metal sounds of experienced artists, as well as energising rap-rock experiments of the new generation. Here are the next two bands that have confirmed their presence at the con.
Nenufar – an atmosphere full of contrasts
We’ll start with something for the fans of heavier, yet melodic music – sounds that can hit you with a great riff and amaze you with a symphonic climate. If combos like that are close to your hearts, do read on, it’s worth it! Although I think I already got your attention.
Nenufar is a Polish musical formation born in 2022 in Bytom on the initiative of Mariusz Świątczak, known from the 12th edition of The Voice of Poland, and vocalist Magdalena Gościcka, trained in classical singing. The band quickly developed their original folk-metal concept towards a sound combining symphonic metal, gothic metal and metalcore. The band is complemented by guitarist Jacek Herda, who has years of on-stage experience, and drummer Jakub Kaczyński, who previously co-created the Hira band, and currently also plays in the hit Polish band Łzy.
As already mentioned, their music uses contrasts – from melancholic ballads to heavy riffs and low-tuned guitars. A characteristic element is the combination of Magdalena’s delicate vocals with a manly growl, as well as symphonic and gothic arrangements inspired by bands such as Nightwish, Lacuna Coil or Draconian.
The band has released the EP “Last Goodbye” (2022) and the album “Take The Pain Away” (2023), recorded at the Austrian Silverline Music Studio. Nenufar actively performs – they appeared, among others, at the Castle Party festival and went on the multi-band Polish Symphonic Metal Tour. The band is currently working on their second album, which is scheduled for release in 2026.
Saturday evening is a great opportunity to immerse yourself in the gothic atmosphere of the night – don your black robes, light the candles and see you in front of the stage (the robes are voluntary, and the candles should be battery-powered).
Why aren’t you jumping to Czemoo yet?
And now, for something special! CZEMOO, a young formation combining rap energy with a strong guitar punch. They undeniably prove that rap and rock can create a really explosive mix, full of energy, sincerity and a rebellious spirit.
CZEMOO is the youngest and probably the most punchy formation you will see on the Pyrkon stage! The band is combining hardcore power with rap authenticity. It was created by the members of the punk band Lockdown together with Poznań-based rapper Kubeus and bassist Ada.
Don’t even think about underestimating them! Although the group is just beginning its journey, its members have already achieved numerous successes: including victory in the Spichlerz Jarocin review, audience award in the TVP3 TV concert, distinction in the eliminations of the Wielkopolskie Rytmy Młodych competition. They have also achieved victory in the eliminations of the GoOnStage festival, organised by one of the largest record labels Warner Music Poland, as well as a contract for the digital distribution of their music. Another reason to boast is a professionally recorded, original material, which will soon see the light of day.
The band consists of four thirteen-year-old musicians:
Kubeus – vocals
Ada – bass
Sasha – guitar
Alex – drums
CZEMOO also has both great contact with the audience and stage freedom, which makes every concert an intense, high-octane experience. You can see the band on Saturday morning on the Water Stage!
I’ll jump, I promise!
These two bands, two different musical worlds, seem to be light years apart. But they have one thing in common – a unique dose of emotion, stage energy and love for heavier sounds. So if you want to have the full Pyrkon experience with this type of music, be sure to add both concerts to your convention agenda!
