Manga and Anime Zone 2026: a place where all worlds converge

25 May 2026

Anime, manga, music, fashion, gaming and art – the 2026 Manga and Anime Zone at Pyrkon will turn Hall 7 into a magical space, full of passion, creativity, and Japanese pop culture. Throughout all 3 days you will have a chance to explore unique events, meet inspiring guests and celebrate with everyone all that we love about the Land of the Cherry Blossoms.

Meet our Pyrkon Team! Again. This time: manga style

You must have seen our Team—four heroes (and a billy goat!). Each of them has a different nature, but they’re united in their love of various kinds of fantastic fiction.

They will visit the Manga and Anime Zone, as their Japanese pop culture inspired versions! Even though you know them as the heroes of Pyrkon as a whole, now you can check out their manga/anime alter egos. These unique designs are once again the work of talented Tokiwata – a talented illustrator from Japan, who’s also a guest of the Convention.

🤖 Pixel – the hero inspired by mecha and new technologies. He represents gaming, science, and futuristic visions straight from a sci-fi anime.

Sunny – the energetic Mahō-shōjo, that brings light, joy, and warmth to any con story.

🗡️ Woodman – the honourable samurai with a heart of gold. Always protecting others, he symbolises strength, loyalty and family values.

🌸 Lapis – the mysterious, kimono-clad lady, connected to magic, knowledge and the secrets of the universe. Her story is full of mysticism and elegance.

Manga Attractions Epicentre

The Manga and Anime Zone occupies Hall 7, filling it to the brim with events inspired by various areas of Japanese popular culture. Here you will find themed zones, workshops, lectures, presentations and activities prepared for both lifelong anime fans, and those who are just starting their adventures with manga.

From classic shōnens, to street fashion and Visual Kei, to games, idols or traditional Japanese culture—there’s something here for everyone.

Additionally, one of this year’s events is the “Rozkwit” (Blooming) exhibition: a unique initiative focused on art, emotions and creativity inspired by manga and anime! The exhibition book collected the works of featured artists and will be available in Pyrshop.

Here are the details: The Rozkwit exhibition – a new initiative at Pyrkon 2026

One more stage!

You already know our outdoor Fire Stage and Water Stage (and the more perceptive of you might have learned about the Air Stage), but in Hall 7 we have prepared yet another one—the Light Stage—focused on our guests and themed attractions.

On Saturday, the hall will sparkle with idol energy, thanks to the Mochi Idols and B1/Wonderz groups.

Mochi Idols
B1/Wonderz

What awaits you is choreographies, music and atmosphere straight from Japanese concert stages: full of light, emotions, and infectious fun that spreads to the audience. If you’ve joined us at previous editions of Pyrkon, you are sure to remember the energy that B1/Wonderz brought to the stage in 2024. ✨

For the Sunday programme finale in the hall we have the Open J-Fashion Show – an event created for the fans of Japanese styling, who want to present their own outfits and share their creativity with other Convention attendees.

What’s on in Earth Hall and on Water Stage?

The Manga and Anime Zone at Pyrkon will also host the concerts of these amazing guests, straight from Japan:

SPYAIR

SPYAIR – one of the most recognisable rock bands making anime music, they recorded such hits as “Last Moment” (Bleach), “I’m a Believer” (Haikyū!!), and “Samurai Heart” (Gintama).

ZAQ

ZAQ – singer, songwriter and composer, whose music can be heard in many anime series, like Food Wars!, Classroom of the Elite, and Chūnibyo & Other Delusions.

Their songs are well known with anime fans all around the world and both of them are gearing up to be some of the most exciting concerts of this year’s Pyrkon. Here is the lineup of our distinguished guests:

It’s a unique chance for the lovers of visual novels, horror, and japanese storytelling, to meet one of the most recognisable authors of modern popular culture.
