Pyrkon’s musical mosaic keeps growing as we add more names to the lineup

9 April 2026

Here are four artists who will invite you into their worlds at Pyrkon. We will have the opportunity to listen to some ethereal, nostalgic, experimental and certainly fantastic music!

Morning time strumming – Ranko Ukulele

Many of you probably know and appreciate our first artist. Her authentic and simple songs will warm even the coldest hearts!

Ranko Ukulele is a musical project by Marta “Ranko” Grenda, which gained popularity on YouTube thanks to original songs on the ukulele and characteristic “scribbles”. Hit songs such as “Kluska”, “Żaklin” or “Przegryw” have become viral anthems for those who like to laugh at themselves and the world. Ranko is an artist with an extraordinary gift for storytelling – her works combine humor, interesting perspective and tenderness. To put it simply, it contains great emotions, and at her concerts the audience is faced with the delicacy, absurdity and beauty of everyday life. Her songs are often characterized by a light, melodic sound, with folk and alternative influences.

She has released two albums: “Marudne piosenki” (2022) and “Poezja brzdąkana” (2024), both recorded in cooperation with multi-instrumentalist and producer Paweł “Paweuke” Wojciechowski, who became a permanent member of the project. The duo performs at concerts with such artists as Zenek Kupatasa, Zacier, SMKKPM or Teściowa Śpiewa. They were guest performers at Wojtek Szumański’s concert and performed as support for Mikromusic. Since 2025, they have also been performing as a band, enriching their songs with additional instruments, which gives Ranko’ songs a more festival-like sound.

You will be able to listen to Ranko on Saturday, so take the biggest dawdlers you know with you and come to this amusing concert that will remain in their memory for a long time!

Time for more strings – harpist Barbara Karlik

We’re not changing the course completely, because our next artist will also captivate you with her extraordinary talent for playing a string instrument. This time, the stage will be filled with the sounds of a harp, and a special one too – it’s an accurate replica of a 17th century instrument!

Barbara Karlik is our local Poznań harpist and singer-songwriter, playing a traditional Celtic harp – the instrument featured on the coat of arms of the Republic of Ireland. She started teaching herself the harp in 2001, but her travels to Ireland drew her into the Historical Harp Society of Ireland, where she became enamored with old harp techniques and historical music. Just like the harpists of the olden days, she uses metal strings, holds the instrument on her left shoulder and plays with her nails. Many Pyrkon fans may remember her concerts full of traditional Irish ballads, works by old harpists and her own compositions inspired by legends, RPGs, LARPs and the fantasy genre. This time, she will play songs both old and new, on the instrument which was not yet featured at our Convention. It is the culmination of 7 years of scientific work: a faithful reproduction of the 17th-century Kildare harp from the Dublin museum. Therefore, the concert will combine history, science and entertainment.

You will be able to listen to Barbara’s delightful harp melodies on Friday, so you can get transported to the lands of fantasy and distant, ancient stories – right as our convention is getting started.

Time, again – for some completely different instruments! – Mikro Orchestra

We’re ditching the strings and changing the tune. No, tone! This time, instead of classical instruments, we’ll hear consoles, pads and other technologies make some noise. You’re in for some techno played on gameboys and musical analogies—that is—analogs!

Micro Orchestra is an audiovisual ensemble from Wrocław creating electronic music on hacked Game Boy consoles and other retrotechnologies. Since 2001, the group has performed in nightclubs, at pop culture festivals and new media art events throughout Europe – including Ars Electronica in Linz, Transmediale in Berlin and the WRO Media Art Biennale in Wrocław.

Mikro Orchestra’s concerts are energetic shows combining chiptune, glitch and live improvisation. The band uses modified game consoles, Guitar Hero controllers, SNES pads and their own software, turning gaming-related equipment into full-fledged stage instruments.

The result is an exuberant mix of electronics, retro-games and experimental performance – often referred to by the creators themselves as “punk chiptune”. This concert attracts fans of electronic music, gamers, geeks and all those interested in unusual sounds.

If you love retro games and are fascinated by the atmosphere of the demoscene, this gig will be a real treat. Come check them out on the Fire Stage on a Saturday night and get to know the sounds of technology from a completely different angle.

Not a time, but just a moment… for SUPER MOMENTY

We’ll be seeing the Super Momenty (smkkpm) band for the second time at Pyrkon, this time in a full-length concert with the album “FANTASY” – the only such album in history, penetrating the worlds of fantasy, Middle-earth, HoMM, Mortal Kombat, MTG, The Sims, Starcraft, McGyver and Tony Hawk… The songs are deeply imbued with pop culture of the 90s and 00s, and the concert will be filled with nostalgia and humor! No other band in Poland has accomplished or captured such a vibe in their songs.

SUPER MOMENTY (SMKKPM) is an original project by the “oldest kids in the world” who insist that you can still handle it all. They know how to raise your spirits with irony, surprise you with the lightness of pop-cultural references and prove that one can talk about sublime things using a simple language. Live concerts are definitely the strength of the project. That’s where fantastic, meaningful songs are complemented by a reflective, light and funny narrative. The concert has a plot, with elements of stand-up.

They have performed songs for two cinema films, they visited different student events, festivals and did a lot of performances at musical and comedy events. The band has so far released three albums: “Superbohater” (2018) , “Brzydki” (2023) and “Fantasy” (2025). The latest album is a nostalgic journey into the world of millennial dilemmas and memories. Their new songs have often made it to the most prestigious lists on Spotify. Other notable moments in the history of the band include: a dozen or so TV productions, a concert on the Polish Radio Three and performing as support for The Scorpions (yes, really). Every year, the group does a tour called: “Valentine’s Day for the fat, sad and lonely” with guest artists such as Ranko Ukulele, Wojtek Szumański, Pan Savyan and Łukasz Kowalski (stand-up), and in previous editions Mieszko Minkiewicz, Michał Kempa and Bartosz Gajda.

Apparently no one moment is perfect to end a convention, and yet the guys are playing on Sunday. Bottom text.

A poem to finish off, as rhyming I cannot stop

Whatever the time of day – some cool bands are about to play
A little retro, funny and rad, if you come listen, you’ll surely be glad!

As you can see – each of the performances will bring something special to the Pyrkon stage. Therefore, it is worth adding a concert to your Pyrkon itinerary.
