The Ministry of Time author, who debuted last year – Kaliane Bradley – is set to come to Poznań in June 2025!

Kaliane Bradley is a writer and editor originally from England. She began her career by publishing in numerous magazines, and her pieces have been recognized with awards – Harper’s Bazaar Short Story Prize and V.S.. Pritchett Short Story Prize in 2022.
However, let’s go back to the early days….
In 2012, Kaliane took a job at Granta magazine as an editorial assistant. She was soon promoted to junior editor and then took the position of procurement editor. At the same time, she worked with the Portobello publishing house, owned by Granta. Between 2016 and 2021, she wrote theater and dance reviews and conducted interviews for Exeunt Magazine, Time Out London, The Stage and The Guardian.
Why is her debut book such a phenomenon?
The Ministry of Time is a science-fiction romance that was released in May 2024 and instantly captured the hearts of readers and film producers. Even before the book’s release, the BBC has commissioned an adaptation of the book, and the script will be written by Alice Birch. The novel was nominated for the Waterstones Debut Fiction Prize and the Bollinger Everyman Wodehouse Prize.
