Kuba Dobrenko is a juror of the Own Design competition!
10 April 2025
The guest list of the Cosplay zone is growing with more names of talented creators. We are pleased to introduce you to the jury of the Own Design competition — Kuba Dobrenko – a Polish artist, costume designer and founder of Oak Stall!
10 years in the industry already!

Kuba has been creating costumes, props and sets for films and events since 2015. Oak Stall, which he founded in June 2019, was created out of a passion for craftsmanship, details and quality of products. You probably know very well how much magic and atmosphere can be provided by the finishing touches to the setting and outfits. It is under his supervision that a team of talented artists creates film costumes, larp armour, props or sets for various productions — not only fantasy ones! Personally, he selects high-quality materials, primarily from Poland, in order to best copy the nature of the costume, convention or era it is from.
Thanks to the support of specialists such as artisan blacksmiths, leatherworkers or furriers, any vision entrusted to the care of Oak Stall can become a reality! And no wonder, because Kuba Dobrenko himself is both a great tailor and a recognized leatherworker.
Exceptional partnerships
After 6 years of activity, Oak Stall, headed by Kuba, can boast of participating in numerous projects. The team worked with, among others, the Korean studio Pearl Abyss (the creators of the Black Desert game), co-created the Misja — Kosmiczna seria Darwina project, conducted workshops for CD Projekt RED and created costumes for the premiere of the Witcher series. Kuba’s portfolio is not limited to fantasy — the costumes for the film KOS and the Flying Dutchman opera are also his creation! One of his recent achievements is creating over 40 full silhouettes for the HOST — Viking LARP event. Kuba also has experience as a juror. He has already been a member of the jury of cosplay competitions at events such as the Gliwice CyberForum or the International Festival of Comics and Games in Łódź. Currently, he is involved in the LarpSpace project — designing a versatile space in the style of science fiction.
We hope you remember to enter the contest! We also encourage you to further refine your outfits — our juror will certainly notice every detail and appreciate your work. We can’t wait to see your Own Designs!
