Have you heard of the Chibi Zones? They are the real heart of our Manga and Anime Zone – full of passion, creativity and incredible energy! These are places where fans of Japanese (and not only!) pop culture come together to celebrate what they love most.
As every year, the creators of attractions will come from different parts of Poland to share their experience, knowledge and notions with you, as well as to satisfy your hunger for knowledge, inspiration and entertainment straight from the Far East.
Come participate in competitions, quizzes, workshops, games and fun related to the culture and pop culture of Japan, Korea, China and even India! There will certainly be origami, traditional Asian games and many other attractions that will draw you in for longer.

Wyspa One Piece

Wyspa One Piece is a project created for fans of the One Piece series, as well as those who want to start their adventure with it. On the Island you will find four massive photo walls, a heavenly chillout zone, a hand-made exhibition, interactive props and a creative zone where you can paint the mustache of the future pirate king.
Take part in numerous competitions and test your skills in the original Escape Room, where you will face not only the puzzles but also the anger of Empress Charlotte Linlin.

Vtuberkowy PL

Vtuberkowy PL, also known as Vtuber.pl, is one of the oldest and largest Polish Discord servers devoted to virtual youtubers – in short, streamers with anime-style avatars. Since 2020, they have been discussing events from the world of vtubing, organizing competitions, giveaways and other activities.
At their booth, they have prepared contests and challenges with prizes, as well as special polls, thanks to which they will check how popular VTUBERZ are among Pyrkon participants. There will also be analog games inspired by the world of virtual idols!
Comparative Studies of Civilizations Science Club of the Jagiellonian University

The Comparative Studies of Civilizations Science Club deals with learning about the cultures of the world, especially those distant and different from ours. They are interested in religions, languages, ways of thinking, rites and everyday life of various communities. Their mission is to expand their knowledge about cultural diversity and share it with others. They also organize conferences, discussions, slideshows and meetings with people who have interesting experiences and passions.
Join them on a journey through the cultures of the world! At the booth, you will try your hand at Asian and Middle Eastern calligraphy, play traditional games, test your knowledge in quizzes about history and mythology, create a teru bozu for good weather and color chibi historical figures. There are also tarot, rune and yi jing divinations as well as origami workshops waiting for you!
Sqiut Games

We cordially invite you to the integration zone inspired by the Squid Games series!
There are plenty of games waiting for you there – both well-known and less popular ones – straight from Korea and China. Get ready for exciting fun playing team and individual games that will stay in your memory for a long time.
Put on a comfortable outfit, get your team together and get into the competition! May luck be on your side!
In the zone, you will have the opportunity to play games such as Congo, Tug of War, dalgone, ppopgi, red light, green light and ojingeo. And that is just the beginning.

Warsztatownia

It is a place full of creative activities, open to all visitors to the Manga and Anime Zone. The program includes, among others:
– sewing and decorating your own bags,
– a traditional tea ceremony,
– a show of talented idols,
– taichi classes,
– handicraft workshops during which you will be able to make a leather wallet.

Photo wall

A magical photo studio, created out of passion for photography and love for creative activity welcomes all Pyrkon participants!
The project is carried out by a group of friends who share a common fascination with cosplay and visual art. They have organized workshops, cosplay zones and photo galleries before. You can follow their activities on Facebook.
This year, they have prepared something special for the participants – a Japanese 3D photo wall.
It offers visitors as much as 8 m² of space stylized as a traditional Japanese cottage with a fragment of a garden. Everyone will be able to take photos there on their own or with the help of a photographer – Daiku.
The Manga Library

Do you like to read? Then this is a corner for you! Like you, the creators of the Library love to read and thus want to share their collections. This great place will allow you to take a break from the hustle and bustle of the convention and relax with your favorite manga or short story in hand.
Over 400 volumes of various titles will be waiting for you in the Zone! Take a gander at their collections by visiting the Library at Pyrkon or looking at the website.
Nododon.pl

It is an extremely active community focused on manga, anime, games, and above all otaculture, the center of which is the Discord server (nododon.pl). There are discussions about everything and anything from Japan, as well as panels on all related topics – from different phenomena in Japanese culture, through music, to mascots.
This year, they have prepared a lot of attractions for you, for which you can collect points – amazing prizes are waiting for the most active ones. At their booth, you will have the chance to answer unusual and funny questions related to Japan, create your own interpretations of cute tanuki or play video games or themed games. In addition, if you are a fan of stuffed animals, you will also find something for yourself there.

Polish Dubbing NanoKarrin

NanoKarrin is a Polish dubbing group operating on the Internet, which for 18 years has been bringing together both amateurs and professionals interested in the broadly understood subject of the localization of films, TV series, animations, games and songs. At Pyrkon, they will set up a field recording studio, where the participants of the event will try their hand at dubbing. They will also prepare a drawing corner, a photo zone and comfortable sun loungers for you to enjoy. There will be no shortage of bingo, kahoot games or workshops.
Nami Azarashi

Nami Azarashi is a Wroclaw-based manga and anime club, operating as part of the NAMI Polish-Japanese Friendship Foundation. It is a place where lovers of Japanese culture, manga and anime meet. The club holds regular meetings where members can share their interests and exchange experiences.
They organize group trips to the cinema, trips to conventions and participate in numerous events related to Japanese culture. One of their main events is the recurring Namicon mini-convention, which gathers fans from all over Wrocław and beyond. If you are passionate about Japan, want to participate in workshops, competitions or simply spend time with people with similar interests, the Nami Azarashi booth is the perfect place for you!
Manggha Museum of Japanese Art and Technology
The Manggha Museum combines basic museum functions with the wide activity of a vibrant cultural center, promoting knowledge about Japan and the Far East.To date, they have presented more than 100 exhibitions, both of traditional Japanese art, contemporary graphics, painting, installations, and the latest Japanese technologies.
At this year’s Pyrkon, they are represented by the representatives of the Education Department. On this occasion, they have prepared a small exhibition about the work of a Japanese artist – woodcutter. After seeing the exhibitions, they invite you to test your newly acquired knowledge in a quiz with prizes. Anyone who visits their booth will take home a piece of Japan – a stamp with a reproduction of a woodcut you stamped yourself.
Azjatycka karczma

Azjatycka Karczma is a young but dynamically developing community centered around the YouTuber Karczma. Their activities focus primarily on manga and anime, but they also deal in a whole host of other related fields – from j-pop, through gacha games, to visual and light novel (not at all).
At their booth, they are preparing a lot of fun for avid lovers of anime openings, connoisseurs of board games and games made into special M&A versions, and those who will want to let their imagination run wild by coloring their favorite anime characters and taking a picture with the most optimistic director in the world!
Plan a visit to their booth, because there will definitely be something to do there!
In addition to visiting the booth, you should also pay a visit to the lectures conducted by Karczma, which are available on the schedule of attractions.
J-games

The Poznań group of Go lovers meets regularly to play together, develop their skills and share their passion for this unusual board game. They organize meetings, workshops and tournaments, promoting Go and building the local community of players.
During Pyrkon, they invite you to the zone dedicated to one of the oldest and most fascinating strategy games in the world. Both those taking their first steps and experienced players will find something for themselves here – from learning the basics to competitions with prizes and the opportunity to play exciting games. This is a great opportunity to get to know Go in a friendly atmosphere and understand why this game has delighted people for thousands of years.
Druga Macka

Druga Macka is a section of the Druga Era club dedicated to the fantasy and pop culture of the Far East.
Meetings are held on Fridays from 7:00 pm at the Club’s headquarters at 13/113 Słowackiego Street in Poznań. At the meetings, the Druga Macka members watch anime on an ongoing basis, play games, present lectures, also hold their own plebiscites, discussions on manga and anime. Integration meetings and outings are also organized. Druga Macka also provides access to a library with a wide selection of manga,
which can be read on the spot or brought home.
In Macka’s mini-zone, there is a convention fairy, a creative Board of Creativity and origami waiting for you. Take part in Pyrkon bingo and bet on what will happen at the Convention.

The Kingdom of Science – Dr. Stone’s Village

The Kingdom of Science is a project created by a group of creative cosplayers, manga, anime and science enthusiasts who decided to combine their passion for knowledge with their fascination with the world of Dr. Stone. Their unique zone, stylized as the Ishigami Village, is a place where learning meets adventure and fun.
There are a number of anime-inspired experiences waiting for participants. Take a photo against themed photo walls, see the stars through a telescope, talk on the radio, charge your phone with muscle power and discover inventions with Dr. Stone. Minerals, science shows and a chill zone are also waiting for you there.
Japonica Creativa & Zhongguo

During Pyrkon, Japonica Creativa – the Japanese Science Club and Zhongguo “众果” – the Sinologists’ Club, which operates at the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, will also be present. Their mission is to popularize knowledge about Japan and China not only among students, but also among a wider group of enthusiasts of Asian culture.
At the booth, they will have numerous attractions waiting for you: from calligraphy and trying on a kimono or hanfu, to photos against an atmospheric photo wall. There will also be fortune-telling and talismans – you will be able to try your hand at reading omikuji or fortune-telling from bones. Participants can also look forward to a unique karate workshop led by a black belt master. These are just some of the experiences that await visitors!
Animelogia Podcast / J-Pop Polska

AnimeLogia Podcast is an online show that shares its passion for Japanese animation, manga, games, and music. For 7 years, they have been continuously discussing every anime available to watch wihin a season, making it easier for listeners to choose the most interesting titles. They also do not shy away from creating reviews and video essays that deepen understanding and enjoyment of this fascinating world.
J-Pop Polska is a group of enthusiasts of popular Japanese music, founded in 2023, whose goal is to promote j-pop in Poland. On their website and social media, they share news from the world of Japanese music, create reports from concerts and various related events, share interviews with artists straight from Japan, and educate about the music industry. In addition, they try to provide entertainment related to j-pop, in the form of competitions, watching concerts or festivals together.
What will they offer at Pyrkon? First of all, they have prepared experiences that require not only knowledge, but also a bit of luck and cunning. Quizzes, screenshots, a wheel of fortune and other prize competitions – you won’t be bored for sure. And for those with more sensitive souls, AnimeLogia has also prepared an Artistic Corner and thematic fan meetings – including j-pop fans.
Far Eastern Science Club

The Far Eastern Science Club invites you to its booth, where its members passionately talk about the culture, traditions and curiosities related to the countries of East Asia. They are also happy to share information about the activities of the club itself.
The prepared attractions will include omikuji fortune-telling, writing down names in Chinese, Japanese and Korean, learning origami, as well as simple games and competitions, such as moving beans with chopsticks or a trivia quiz about Asia.
It’s the perfect place to stop for a moment, get to know something new and immerse yourself in the cultures of the Far East.
