Concert Lineup Recap: All Four Elements Combined!

5 June 2026

Water. Earth. Fire. Air. A long, long time ago, the four nations lived together in harmony… Wait a minute! Wrong universe! Besides, we also have a fifth troublemaker, the Light Stage! But that’s like a distant cousin your mom makes you play with while he just watches anime all the time. You can learn more about him here.

So let me take you on a musical journey through all the convention stages, because this year there is a lot to talk about. Pyrkon will host a whopping 63 performances, and each of the elements has something special prepared. If you want to quickly check who is performing, where, and when, be sure to check out the convention program and use the filters for the appropriate theme and category:

And now, without further ado—it’s time to check out what you’ll find on each stage!

A Long Time Ago, But Very True

Very true indeed, though it was quite a while ago. For everyone who hasn’t been following our social media religiously (which is a huge mistake!), we want to remind you what we had happening when this year’s edition of Pyrkon was still a distant phantom of the future.

We kicked off the concert announcement season on June 15, 2025, right after the previous edition ended! We announced, among others, the Swedish symphonic power metal band—Twilight Force, famous for their fairytale aesthetics, spectacular costumes, and songs set in their original fantasy world called “The Twilight Kingdoms.” Much later, in October, you learned the highly anticipated results of your favorite Time-Turner contest and that really set off the concert announcements for good! For those of you who might not be familiar with it, the Time-Turner is a contest where you decide which artist or band will return for the next edition of the convention, so choose your favorites carefully this year! In 2026, Łydka Grubasa won, which is why the guys will once again appear on the Fire Stage to treat you to their signature mix of humour and rock music.

Then came the Dutch artist Floor Jansen, one of the most recognizable vocalists in the metal world, whose powerful voice and stage charisma have captivated Nightwish and symphonic music fans worldwide for years. Next, you learned about the performance of the French band SKÁLD, who produce music inspired by Norse mythology. And let’s not forget the announcement of LORDI, a band that probably needs no introduction to any fan of Eurovision, rock, or monsters of any kind.

Where Does a Pyrkon Attendee Wander at Night?

meme text: Pyrkon: Let’s invide music artists, let people have fun! Also Pyrkon, after 23:00: Bring that bass louder

Our elements have two faces—daytime and nighttime. By day, they attract crowds of convention-goers, and after dark, they turn into a space full of extraordinary musical experiences. This is when mysterious folk spectacles, electronic experiments, club beats, and sounds that are hard to pigeonhole into just one genre appear on the stages. The convention stages don’t go all quiet as the sun sets—on the contrary, they reveal their more unusual side. Speaking of which, let’s take a look at each of them in turn…

The Earth Hall

If you are looking for the biggest musical thrills and an unforgettable spectacle, you should head to the Earth Hall. This is where you will hear legends of the metal scene, music inspired by Scandinavian mythology, a K-pop boy band, a Japanese rock band, and even a unique symphonic concert prepared especially for Pyrkon attendees! Studio Accantus is also returning, and after last year’s success and numerous complaints from people who couldn’t fit into the hall (We do not guarantee they’ll fit this year either…), they’ve been given another chance to captivate the audience.

The Fire Stage

The Fire Stage has been the musical heart of Pyrkon for years. This is where folk melodies, rock anthems, metal riffs, and electronic experiments meet, and the audience parties from the very first concerts until late at night. This year will feature many of your favorite Polish bands, as well as international stars like Twilight Force and LORDI.

Air Stage x WAPo

The Air Stage is the youngest of Pyrkon’s concert stages, but it definitely doesn’t lack character. It was created in cooperation with the Wieczór Artystów Poznańskich—WAPo and focuses primarily on original work and discovering new talents. The musicians you will be able to listen to prioritize their own ideas, sincerity of the message, and direct contact with the audience over huge productions and elaborate spectacles. It’s a place for musical explorers. After all, nothing is as satisfying as being able to say years later: “I knew them back when they played the Air Stage at Pyrkon!”

Mages of the Four Elements, Assemble!

As you can see, each element has its own character and domain. Fire sparks with guitars, Water flows from folk to electronics, Air blows in fresh sounds, and Earth attracts the biggest stars (asteroids? rock‥? We still need to work on this metaphor…).

The question remains: which element will you choose? Or maybe, as true Pyrkon attendees should, you’ll try to master them all at once? Let’s just hope it doesn’t end in accidentally summoning something not even the convention program predicted. With the current setup, our organizational alchemy is complicated enough…
