Creativity without limits – meet the jury of our Own Character contest!
3 April 2026
The Cosplay Zone has been one of the most spectacular and lively places on Pyrkon for years. It’s here that our participants can show off the effects of many months of work, talent and commitment – from first drafts, to fabric choice, to the final stage performance. This year we have two fantastic cosplay contests for you. We’ve already introduced our Masquerade jury, now let’s talk about Own Character – the category for creatives who want to present their own designs, re-interpretations or unique versions of characters. Which is why judging this contest requires a specific outlook that combines artistic sense with costume design knowledge. Now let us introduce the Own Character Contest jury!
The Own Character Contest jury
Nadyasonika – a professional cosplayer and content creator, known for her artistic approach to pop-culture, which she’s been implementing since the beginning of her career in 2010. Her influence on the cosplay community knows no bounds. She’s been a guest, panelist and member of the jury in countless events in 150+ cities in over 20 countries around the world.
Nadyasonika has cemented her place as one of the top cosplay artists in the world. Her commitment and skill shine through both her impressive costumes she crafts for herself, as well as the designs she makes for other creators or brands in the industry. Her eye for quality and creativity are second to none, which made her one of the most influential people in the world of cosplay.
Kuba Dobrenko Łagunionok – costume and stage designer with over a decade of experience, working at the intersection of film and game industries with immersive events. His specialty is designing and creating custom outfits – from historical and fantasy, to technically advanced builds prepared to be scanned in 3D. He collaborated on the Polish opening of Netflix in Warsaw, and his creations were presented at such shows like the Osaka Expo. He designed and prepped costumes for 3D scans for the Crimson Desert game. He has also created outfits for CD PROJEKT RED or for the Epic Game Music Show.
His works appeared in Polish movies: Scarborn, Wet Monday, LARP THE MOVIE and in the latest adaptation of a classic Polish novel, The Doll (Lalka). Dobrenko has also designed costumes and sets for the Discovery group for “The Mission” project by G.F. Darwin (Misja – kosmiczna seria Darwina). He has also created the uniforms for Krystalium LARP and he’s been working on Witcher-inspired outfits for over a decade – both for events and commercial productions.
Dobrenko’s designs appeared in 20+ commercials for brands such as BLIK or Audioteka. He’s also the creator of HOST – Viking LARP, for which he designed and made over 50 unique, hand-made outfits. He combines craftsmanship, design and new technologies to create costumes that both look and work great in game, during a photoshoot or in a narrative space.
Ayo – a Polish cosplayer and vocalist. You may know her from TikTok, YouTube, many convention stages or her Mam Talent! (Poland’s Got Talent) performance. In cosplay she loves makeup, working with EVA foam, and stage performance, but she likes to expand all the skills needed for costume creation. A winner of multiple cosplay competitions, she represented Poland at GICOF 2025 and will do so again soon – at the upcoming ECG 2026.
