When musical meets fantasy: Accantus to return to Pyrkon Fan Convention!
4 May 2026
If after last year’s Pyrkon you feel like you want for more, then we have very good news for you! Studio Accantus is set to reappear at this year’s edition of Pyrkon! It will be a comeback like never before!
Accantus Studio, and what a group it is!
For those who, by some miracle, have not yet found their work: Studio Accantus is a group that has been doing one very important thing for over a decade: proving that musicals and film music can sound incredible when sung in Polish. And we are not talking about a few covers put on the internet as an experiment, but about hundreds of songs that have been featured on their YouTube channel for years. If you have ever heard the Polish versions of “Hamilton”, “SIX” or “The Greatest Showman”, you know what we are talking about. And if not – well, it’s time to make up for it. And it is best to start from the beginning of their channel, because their arrangement of the musical “Rudolf: Affaire Mayerling” is something you simply cannot overlook.
Their concerts are no ordinary performances. It is a real musical journey through various shades of the musical: from classics, through contemporary hits, to more intimate things that can surprise even the most familiar fans. Add to that Disney songs that most of us know by heart (even if you don’t want to admit it) and you have a recipe for a concert that everyone can enjoy.
Accantus Studio at Pyrkon!
Importantly, the group themselves openly admit that after the previous Pyrkon, they were left wanting more. And that usually means one thing: now they will want to make up for it. A new repertoire, fresh energy and a return to the convention stage sound like a great plan. In addition, you will also have another opportunity to meet the singers and ask them a few (or several dozen!) questions.
Performing on stage will be: Małgorzata Chruściel, Paweł Erdman, Aleksandra Lewicka, Patrycja Mizerska, Karol Osentowski, Maciej Pawlak, Sylwia Przetak and Paweł Skiba, and the whole will be accompanied by the Accantus Live Band under the direction of Kasia Kessling.
In short: if you like the moments when the crowd sings along with the artists, and you feel the shivers appear down your spine faster than you can say “encore”, then it is worth having this program event on your radar.
