Marcin Świerkot will be a guest of the Tabletop Games Section
Marcin Świerkot is the founder of Awaken Realms – one of the largest board games’ publishers in Poland. He worked on games such as: The Edge: Dawnfall, ThisWar of Mine: TBG, Lords of Hellas, Nemesis or Siegestorm.
MARCIN ŚWIERKOT’S COMPANY, AWAKEN REALMS, WAS FOUNDED IN 2014 AND QUICKLY BECAME SUCCESSFUL IN POLAND AND ABROAD
Awaken Realms is a company which paints game figurines (for example to Warhammer) and creates board games with original figurines. It serves customers from around the world – among others, the United States, Canada, Australia, China and Saudi Arabia. It employs designers, graphic designers and artists. Marcin Świerkot, as one of its founders, participated in the process of creating the game “The Edge” and collecting funds on Kickstarter for its release. To a great extent, he also contributed to the creation of the board version of the popular Polish computer game “This War of Mine”.
Marcin Świerkot and Awaken Realms operate internationally, but also actively support Polish board games stage. It is thanks to them, that new game of one of this year’s guests of Pyrkon, Adam Kwapiński, entitled “Nemesis”, could have been published.
