Meet Tim Allen at Pyrkon 2026!

An amazing animator is set to come to Pyrkon 2026! You will be able to take part in his workshops and listen to a lecture on one of the iconic animations.

Animator with a huge portfolio

Tim Allen – a specialist in the field of stop-motion animation – will appear at this year’s Pyrkon! He has more than 20 years of experience in this field, and his extensive portfolio includes both popular television series and global blockbusters. For many years, he worked with the renowned Aardman Animations studio, where he worked on such hits as “Shaun the Sheep”, “Fireman Sam” and “Postman Pat”.

The creator of the Oscar-winning film

His most important film achievements include “Pinocchio” (directed by Guillermo del Toro), where he served as a senior animator, “Isle of Dogs” (directed by Wes Anderson), where he worked as a key animator or “Corpse Bride” and “Frankenweenie”, on which he collaborated with Tim Burton. Other feature films are also worth mentioning, such as “Fantastic Mr. Fox”, “Chuck Steel: Night of the Trampires”, the Oscar-nominated “Ma Vie de Courgette”, as well as Oscar-winning “Peter and the Wolf”.

Tim Allen is also an active lecturer and has extensive experience in teaching animation techniques around the world. He conducts workshops for adepts of the art of animation at all levels of advancement and for this year’s Pyrkon, on Friday and Saturday, he also prepared lectures on this topic in the FIG zone. On the other hand, in the Film and TV Zone, you will be able to take part in his lecture about the “Corpse Bride”.
