Star Wars Fan Zone strikes back!

20 May 2025

It’s time for a sequel to the most fantastic initiative in this part of the galaxy! Unlike Palpatine, the reason for the return of the Star Wars Fan Zone is well known – Pyrkon attendees simply loved it.

If you didn’t have a chance to visit it when it debuted, it’s high time to make up for it! Star Wars Fan Zone is a space created especially for all lovers of the galaxy far, far away – Jedi, Sith, Mandalorians, clones, stormtroopers and all other beings from the Star Wars universe.

Whether you’re a die-hard fan of the saga or just starting out with a few episodes of Clone Wars or The Mandalorian – be sure to stop by and let yourself be swept away by the Force!

Star Wars Zone Guests

During this year’s edition of Pyrkon, we will be visited by an exceptional group of guests connected with the world of Star Wars:

Denis Lawson – Scottish actor who played the role of the legendary X-Wing pilot Wedge Antilles in the original trilogy and in the film Rise of the Skywalker . At Pyrkon, he will share his memories from the set and talk about his experiences with the Star Wars universe.

Pora Imperatora– an intrepid foursome that defies algorithms to serve fans content full of brilliance and dignity. The team consists of: Seva – the bard and savior of the non-toxic part of the fandom, Burzol – the master of the ukulele, Misiek- the nocturnal pop culture researcher, and Bocian – the messenger of death, like a divine wind among the whirlwinds on Bespin.

Dżedajka– has been running one of Poland’s largest fan communities for seven years, where he breezes through discussions with his unique sense of humor and uncompromising opinions. His heart beats to the rhythm of the Original Trilogy, and the VHS tape of the Empire Strikes Back has barely survived years of constant rewinding.

Wiktor Weprzędz – an enthusiast who combines his love of fantasy with his literary and film work. English teacher by day, in his spare time he abandons himself to creating stories. He actively participates in Polish fan communities such as Manda’Yaim, Lodz Star Wars Fanclub and Polish Garrison 501st Legion.

Also appearing at Pyrkon will be Kevin J. Anderson – a guest of the Literary Zone, one of the best-known authors of novels from the world of Star Wars, who has significantly expanded the Expanded Universe with his books. His Jedi Academy series and the Darth Ban trilogy have won the hearts of millions of fans around the world.

Exhibitions

The Star Wars zone will be bursting at the seams with items, costumes and characters straight from the screen and pages of comic books:

Death Star Wall Project – an impressive reconstruction of the corridors of the Death Star, 10 meters long and 2.7 meters high, created with extraordinary attention to detail – from control panels to doors to authentic sounds and smoke. This is the perfect opportunity to take a commemorative photo in the company of Darth Vader himself!

Rebel Base – prepared by members of the Rebel Legion Eagle Base group, A Place where you will see what life is like for fighters fighting for the freedom of the galaxy. In the base you will find droids (including a remote controlled R2-D2 and BB-8), a tactical table and a porg homestead. You’ll be able to have your picture taken against the backdrop of the X-Wing and enlist in the Rebellion!

An Exhibition of Queen Amidala’s Costumes – Aldona Talarczyk (ATATCostumeArt) will present six meticulously recreated costumes from the film Dark Spectre, made with attention to the smallest details – from rich embellishments to unique headgear.

Star Wars Armory – an exhibition including items made based on movie replicas, as well as props created specifically for the Lost Empire larp.

Minifigs Legion – 501st – An impressive collection of some two hundred Lego figures depicting clones from the 501st Legion, complete with twenty modified war machines. All created by a collector known as “Pan od niebieskich Klonów.”

Galactic Toys – a unique exhibition showcasing the lesser-known, everyday side of the galaxy through a collection of toys – from plush tooka cats, banthas and shaaks, to handmade wooden models, to miniature fighters and walking machines.

Forgotten in the Galaxy – a collection of clone helmets from every phase of their development – from the classic Phase I helmets, through the evolution of designs from the later years of the Clone Wars, to rare and unique pieces associated with specific troops and characters.
