Welcome to the world of extraordinary illustrations – Patricia Martin to be a guest at Pyrkon!
This time we present you a program event that will appeal not only to fans of comic books, but also simply of great illustrations, because these will be appreciated by everyone! Pyrkon will feature Patricia Martin, an illustrator and comic book artist who has been nominated for the Harvey Award multiple times and has been declared the winner by American Illustration.
Let’s get to know Patricia Martin and her wonderful work
Patricia has been an artist at heart from an early age. Born in Spain in 1985, she has always felt the need to communicate through writing or drawing. The artist has been working in the illustration and comics industry for eight years. During this time she had the opportunity to work (and we – to admire the results of her work) on such titles as: “Bloodshot Reborn” by Jeff Lemire, “Ninjak” by Matt Kindt, “Wrath of Eternal Warrior” by Robert Venditti, “Secret Weapons” by Eric Heisserer for Valiant Comics and “Wonder Woman” for DC Comics.
She is currently working on an adaptation of the graphic novel “Dune” with Abrams Books, along with artist Raúl Allén, and creating comic book covers and illustrations.
Her clients include DC Comics, Image Comics, Dynamite Comics, Dark Horse Comics, Valiant Comics, Abrams Books and Onipress.
