The Kids’ Zone is a place for the youngest Pyrkon attendees (up to 12 years of age), where children can spend time alone or in the company of their parents. At the entrance to the zone, registration of the little Participants is mandatory. When you register, you accept the Terms and Conditions available below – this procedure is to ensure the safety of all the kids in our care.
Visiting the Kids’ Zone is a great opportunity for the youngest of Pyrkon attendees to participate in workshops, shows and fun activities we prepare with them in mind. This year we’re also arrangin4 g for experiments and interactive exhibitions to be part of the zone.
You’ll find all these program events mainly in the Creativity Corner and the Creativity Hall – rooms available to children registered via the form available online or at the desk in the zone (the form will be available from June onwards).
The zone will also feature a Family Activities Corner, where kids will be able to play with blocks or play some boardgames. There will also be a Toddler Zone for the youngest kids (4 years and up) and their Guardians, with foam jigsaw puzzles and loungers. We’ll have experienced Volunteers and invited Entertainers watching over it all.
Pyrkon itself and a visit to the Kids’ Zone is a great opportunity to dress up as your favorite character. All kids are encouraged to dress up and become their favorite characters for a day!

WILL THERE BE GUESTS AND SPEAKERS IN THE KIDS’ ZONE?
Special guests such as scientists, illustrators and independent artists invited by the Organizers are an integral part of the Zone. The Kids’ Zone is also full of integration activities, creative workshops that not only develop the kids’ curiosity and imagination, but are also all about science and art!
For several years now, we’ve also had talks done by „Young Speakers” – there is space in the Zone for the kids to talk to their peers. Young Speakers must be registered in advance using the program registration form.
We’re happy to work closely with cultural institutions, associations, student research groups, fandoms and individual creators, who combine science with fun and fantasy (and more 🙂).
