Initiative “All Animals Are Fantastic”
Do we have any pet lovers here? Are your hands raised? That’s great, because you’ve just found the „All Animals Are Fantastic” campaign, which has been bravely supporting foundations that help pets since 2022. Our goal is to introduce you to them, which we do not only through the site, but also by making space available for them at Pyrkon. And if you are curious about who we are already working with, read on!
We are now working with…
Labrador Guide Dog Foundation

Labrador Guide Dog Foundation is an outstanding team of individuals whose dedication makes social and vocational rehabilitation for the blind and visually impaired significantly easier. All of these are thanks to guide dogs trained by the Foundation and given to people free of charge!
Labrador Guide Dog Foundation is a member of the International Guide Dog Federation and has Guide Dog Certification Credentials.
Are you curious where you can find them at Pyrkon? The answer is simple – you can find them in the Science Zone. There, you can attend their lecture and meet their volunteers at the Foundation stand, who will inform you about the Foundation’s activities. You will be able to support it by adding some money to the moneybox as well.
This year’s Pyrkon will again feature the training of puppies to be future guide dogs!
However, if you already can’t wait and want to support the foundation you can do it here!
“Ja Pacze Sercem”

The “Ja Pacze Sercem” Foundation for Helping Blind Cats is the only volunteer group in all of Europe that has been active for many years in rescuing blind and visually impaired cats. Although the organization has officially been in existence since 2016, helping pets has been a part of their lives for much longer, and on an international scale, as they have also been taking in cats from war-stricken Ukraine since 2014.
“Ja Paczę Sercem” volunteers are creating a network of temporary homes across Poland for blind kitties. They take them not only from the street but also from shelters, as remaining there means spending time in cages for weak-sighted cats – for their own safety. They currently have 204 cats in their care.
The pet community has already recognized the Foundation’s efforts in 2016 and 2017 when it was awarded the Cat Person of the Year and Heart for Animals awards. For “Ja Pacze Sercem” this is a major achievement, as their goal is not only to save the kittens but also to reach an ever-increasing number of people and show them that blind cats make fantastic companions and their eyesight should be no barrier. After all, “different” does not mean “inferior”, together with them we can look with our hearts!
At Pyrkon, the Foundation will have a booth in the Vendors Land full of incredible gadgets, and its volunteers will prepare a lecture for the participants in the Science Zone. During the lecture, a presentation of videos and photos of blind and visually impaired cats is planned, to show how fantastic these creatures are and how fantastically they cope, if only people are willing to invite them in.
We wish the blind were not invisible!
