Accessible Pyrkon. We work to make life easier!
11 March 2026
For years, the Pyrkon Fan Convention has been developing activities as part of the Accessible Pyrkon campaign, which aims to facilitate participation in the event for people with special needs. We would like to remind you that it is also possible to apply for free accreditations for assistants or carers this year.
We believe that fantasy is for everyone – regardless of barriers or limitations. That is why we make every effort to ensure that the Pyrkon Fan Convention is an open, safe and friendly space in which every participant can feel comfortable. It is important to us that our event does not exclude anyone, and that the shared experience of emotions, passion and creativity is available to the widest possible audience.
Free accreditations for assistants or carers!
As every year, we would like to remind you that at Pyrkon, an assistant or carer of a person with a disability has the right to a free ID. You will be able to pick it up at the box office in the presence of the person you will be caring for or assisting during the Convention.
Remember, however, that in order for an assistant or carer to receive an ID, the person they care for must have purchased a ticket to enter the event area.
However, we have made a small but significant change in the way you apply to receive a free assistant or carer pass – from now on, we only accept applications via a dedicated form. The remaining rules for participation remain unchanged.
We are accepting your applications until June 15. We encourage you not to postpone the application until the last minute!
What to do to get an ID for an assistant or carer? You will find all the necessary information on the website of the Accessible Pyrkon campaign. There, you will learn about the procedures for obtaining such ID step by step, so we encourage you to familiarize yourself with the information contained therein.
NEW IN THE PROGRAM: Polish Sign Language interpreter at the Masquerade and the Łydka Grubasa concert!
We can already tell you that during the upcoming edition of the Convention – as part of the Accessible Pyrkon campaign – we are introducing further solutions to increase the availability of selected program events!
A translation into the Polish Sign Language (PJM) will appear during the Masquerade – one of the convention’s flagship and most anticipated events. This is a unique moment that attracts crowds of participants every year, which is why we are all the more happy that it will be available to an even wider audience.
Moreover, for the first time in the history of the convention, we will provide a translation into Polish Sign Language during a concert by Łydka Grubasa. This is an absolute debut when it comes to interpreting a concert at our event – an important step towards even greater openness and accessibility of the convention attractions.
In the implementation of these activities, we are supported by the Deaf People Association (TON) and translators related to TON, whom we sincerely thank for their commitment and cooperation.
We believe that every next step towards accessibility matters – and that together we are building a convention that we can all be really proud of. See you at Pyrkon!
