We know that some of you have been waiting to meet Kevin J. Anderson since last year’s edition of Pyrkon. We’re happy to report the writer will be a guest at the Literature Zone and the Star Wars Zone during this year’s edition. He is one of the most recognizable contemporary science fiction and fantasy authors – the American writer is the author of over 100 books, dozens of which have made bestseller lists. His output includes both original cycles of novels and books set in well-known universes.
A few words about Kevin J. Anderson
Kevin J. Anderson gained wide recognition by co-writing new Dune novels together with Brian Herbert, Frank Herbert’s son. He has also written works set in the Star Wars universe, and apart from novels, he also edits anthologies, comics and multimedia projects, which only confirms his versatility. He also often writes in duets, including with his wife Rebecca Moesta, Doug Beason, Dean Koontz and even A.E. van Vogt or L. Ron Hubbard. He is also the author of novels set in the most iconic fantasy worlds – in addition to Dune and Star Wars, he has expanded the universes of X-Files, Star Trek, StarCraft or Superman with his novels.
Kevin J. Anderson’s work focuses primarily on science fiction. His books often combine the momentum of an epic story with dynamic action, an elaborate world presented and political or adventure storylines. Readers appreciate him for his ability to develop well-known franchises, but also for his own series and numerous projects created with a lot of imagination and momentum. Novels developing the mythology of Dune, written since 1999 in cooperation with Brian Herbert, have a special place among his works.
