Magic, fun, and adventure – all the attractions waiting for the youngest visitors in the Kids’ Zone!
25 May 2025
It will be three days full of smiles, colors and children’s joy. In June, the Kids’ Zone will once again become a place where the youngest participants of Pyrkon will be able to feel like the heroes of their own adventure. What exactly have we prepared for the youngest Pyrkon-goers? Here we are with a handful of information!
Animals, nature and experiments for the little ones!
During this year’s Pyrkon – in the Kids’ Zone – our youngest participants will be able to search for magical beasts! And all this together with lecturers and students of the University of Life Sciences, who will help little explorers create their own fantastic animal. For this purpose, techniques inspired by… molecular cuisine will be used! You can be sure that it will be creative, scientific and very magical, and your children will be delighted!
You will also get to know the amazing Dog called Precel and his adventures! Well – hey, can a dog be the author of books? Of course, if his name is Precel, and his carers are amazing people: Marta and Mateusz! This cute furry friend, along with his caretakers, will visit the Kids’ Zone to tell the children about his adventures and teach them how to care for the animals. “Przygody Psa Precla” is not only award-winning books, but also hundreds of author meetings full of laughter, empathy and education. Don’t miss your chance to meet this unique furry hero!
If your children love learning, there will be many attractions and opportunities for learning through fun in the Kids’ Zone. We wholeheartedly invite young scientists to the Land of Experiments, where workshops conducted by peers for peers will take place as part of the Young Speakers series, i.e. Karolina and Krzyś from the Land of Experiments. They’re also invited to shows by Heweliusze Nauki, who have often already appeared in the Science Zone. During this year’s Pyrkon, they will debut in the Kids’ Zone with a musical and electrifying workshop. If you are curious about what lies behind these concepts, then… you can be sure that this is the perfect opportunity to awaken curiosity about the world and see that science can be an amazing adventure!
A little investigation for the young ones?
Have you ever wondered what the life of a cop looks like? If so, that’s great news – junior police inspector Małgorzata Sokołowska, known online as the author of Z pamiętnika policjantki, will appear at Pyrkon again in the Kids’ Zone!
Małgorzata Sokołowska – police negotiator, detective and educator – will conduct fascinating workshops during which children will discover the secrets of the investigator’s work. They will learn how to secure fingerprints, learn about forensic equipment, and hear valuable cybersecurity advice. It will be intense, interesting and very practical!
Animations and a bit of movement!
Over 360 films, hundreds of awards and dozens of adaptations of beloved fairy tales and legends – this is how you can briefly describe Poznań’s TV Studio Filmów Animowanych. During Pyrkon, they will present the most beautiful productions created especially for the youngest participants. This is a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of fairy tales told with extraordinary attention to detail and educational values.
And if you’re waiting for movement, rhythm and an explosion of good energy, The House of Just Dance gets even the biggest sleepyheads going! Free games, tournaments, workshops and lots of colors – this dance space is open to anyone who loves music and wants to have fun. There are no grades here, just the sheer joy of dancing!
This is only part of what we have prepared in the Kids’ Zone at Pyrkon 2025. For more details, take a look at the already published program of the event and get ready for a lot of fantastic attractions! See you there – let the little ones have their magic convention too!
