Dawne Komputery i Gry – who are they?

Dawne Komputery i Gry is a foundation helping to organize unique nostalgic journeys into the world of electronic entertainment. By organizing retro-style zones, they allow participants to enter the world of consoles, computers and games from a dozen or even several decades ago. As part of their activities, they also run the Museum of Computers and Games, where everyone can learn more about the history of gaming.

It is a zone with as many as 64 desks that are literally boiling with sentimental vibes. This is not a typical museum with “do not touch” signs; on the contrary, everything is fully interactive here! Each device is ready for use. At your disposal, there will be, among others, PONG clones, Commodore 64, Atari 2600, NES, SNES, Nintendo 64, Sega Master System and Win XP networked PCs. Thanks to this, everyone will have the opportunity to try their hand at retro-gaming!

You will also be able to try your hand at fantastic tournaments. There will be as many as ten of them, and you will find detailed information below!

A few words about YOMI

Poznań’s YOMI e-sports initiative returns to Pyrkon! All fans of clicking will have Sony PlayStation 5 consoles at their disposal, on which various fighting games will be available. Everyone will be able to try their hand, and for the brave, we also have something special – a whole series of Tekken 8, Guilty Gear Strive and Street Fighter tournaments, about which you will find detailed information below. Keep in mind, however, that there are tournament sign-ups!

But, but, but…! This year, there will also be something dedicated to cosplayers. There will be a specially designated space for photos. The Tekken Meetup will also take place there.

During these three days, you will be able to get to know the YOMI team better. You will also find out what their regular offline sparring looks like and what tournaments YOMI organizes for the Polish Fighting Games Community.

PIĄTEK (13.06.2025)

Quake III Arena Tournament – Nothing brings you closer than shooting other convention participants with a bazooka! Grab your weapon, shoot, and get as many frags as you can! The game will, of course, be played on PCs.

Super Mario Bros. Tournament – Classic Mario in a non-classical edition. Only time counts in this tournament; you need to complete the first level 1-1 as soon as possible without losing your life and without going into the pipes. To make it not too easy, you will play upside down. Excessive turning of the head is prohibited!

SATURDAY (14.06.2025)

Donkey Kong Tournament – Donkey Konga… Can you feel the rhythm? Drum it out all the way to victory!

River Raid Tournament – Flying over a river can be dangerous. However, you probably handle it best. Come, take part in this tournament and prove it!

Yoomp Tournament! – Boom, boom, boom, boom! Feel the rhythm and jump! The gameplay is chill; what counts is the number of points you will be able to collect until you lose all lives.

Mario Kart 64 Tournament – Avoid shells, throw a banana, eat a star and score points. It will certainly be a game full of surprises and emotions. Become a part of it and take part in the tournament!

Sensible World Of Soccer Tournament – The year 2025 is a unique jubilee – Amiga turns 40 years old! This is a great opportunity to compete in the greatest of football classics.
