<trailer voice on> You listened to the Epic Voice Guy with a thrill… held your breath when watching Movie Fights… sought for the ultimate answers on countless FANDOM wikis. Now it’s time to meet the creators who made all of this possible…This spring, embark on a journey that will change your life – this journey will take you to the 20th edition of Pyrkon where you will meet the Screen Junkies team!
STARRING…
Meet Roth Cornet, Head of Creative Development at FANDOM and Screen Junkies. She is responsible for content creation and the development of the entire channel. She also appears regularly as a host and a panelist on Screen Junkies shows.
The sensible length of this news keeps us from listing all of her experiences with the media. We shall settle for naming just a few companies she has worked with, such as AMC Theatres, NBC Universal, and ING. In addition, she appeared as an expert on several magazines like the Hollywood Reporter, Inside Edition, FOX NY, and KCRW’s Press Play.
Let us not forget that Roth is also a Tomatometer-approved film critic for Rotten Tomatoes. That all should give you a sense of her high caliber.
Meet Spencer Gilbert – a man whose main job is to write. He is the head writer for FANDOM and Screen Junkies. Spencer is leading the team responsible for the widely known and loved Honest Trailers (1,5 billion of views are quite something) – that should be the only information you need.
Before joining Screen Junkies, he has worked on such productions as Billy on The Street and The Onion News Network. This guy’s head full of crazy ideas is bound to make an unforgettable impression on you.
Need more?
And finally meet Joe Starr, a star (ha!), a writer and a host working for FANDOM and Screen Junkies. You can admire his work through the aforementioned Honest Trailers. In addition, every week, he appears in person in Screen Junkies Universe.
His acting and comedian career started over 10 years ago. Since then, he performed at comedy clubs, conventions, and comic book shops. He also contributed articles to Entertainment Weekly, Uproxx and Pajiba as well as worked on several book titles together with Devastator Press.
Three people, three different stories.
Passion, joy, science-fiction, FANDOM… Come to Poznań on May 8 and meet those who have devoted their lives to the screen. Meet the Screen Junkies! <trailer voice off>
