To Pyrkon in an X-Wing, or Denis Lawson to visit Poznań!

A long, long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away, a handful of rebels undertook a difficult battle against the Empire, which ruled with a firm hand. Among the most distinguished witnesses was X-Wing fighter pilot Wedge Antilles. And more so the actor playing him, Denis Lawson. And that’s exactly who we will be hosting at Pyrkon!
Who is Denis Lawson?
Lawson began his acting career in 1969 in the London production of “The Metamorphosis” in the West End. Over the years, he has appeared in many acclaimed television productions, including The Merchant of Venice, Rock Follies and Dead Head. Movie buffs may also know him from his role as Gordon Urquhart in the 1983 film Local Hero.
In 1977, he appeared on movie screens in the role of rebel and X-Wing pilot Wedge Antilles. You could meet him not only in the Original Trilogy as the conqueror of the second Death Star, but also in the last part of the saga – “Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker .” He also did dubbing in the game “Star Wars Rogue Squadron II: Rogue Leader” on the GameCube and in one episode of the series “Star Wars: Visions.”
