Build your own stop-motion animation with MegaSpaceFighter studio!
LEGO bricks and stop-motion have a long, shared history. Back in the days when YouTube was only just starting (or even earlier), home-grown amateur stop-motion animators began their adventure recording animated minifigures, frame by frame. To this day, the platform retains footage from 18 years ago made in 480p quality. Most of them shows battles of plastic knights or adaptations of action movies in brick form. One of the oldest channels you may come across when looking for this type of archival production is MegaSpaceFighter.
From home productions, to commissions for LEGO.
MegaSpaceFighter is a stop-motion and CG animation studio based in Warsaw’s Zoliborz district, which was established in 2021. Its origins, however, go back 13 years, when the first video appeared on a YT channel under the same name. It was entitled “LEGO Star Wars the clone wars To the rescue of the ambassadors.” The studio has worked continuously on film productions for more than 2 years – primarily for the LEGO Group, but also for brands such as Tongal studio, Disney, LucasFilm and Tremolo Productions.
