CSR campaigns at Pyrkon – help with passion and show your talent!

The Pyrkon Fan Convention is an event that for years has delighted not only with the richness of the program and the unusual atmosphere, but also with initiatives that have a real impact on the world outside the Convention. Because although we come here primarily to have fun, learn and meet people with similar interests, Pyrkon also provides a unique opportunity to combine passion with helping. As part of CSR activities, fantastic charity initiatives will be waiting for you, which will allow you not only to support those in need, but also to engage creatively. This year we have prepared as many as three unique campaigns: help for pets, support for blood donation and a competition where you can show off your talent!
The “Wszystkie zwierzęta są fantastyczne” campaign – help for our furry friends
Perfect for all pet lovers! Pyrkon actively cooperates with pro-animal foundations – the aim of the “Wszystkie zwierzęta są fantastyczne” initiative is not only to provide financial support to the foundation, but also to educate and raise awareness about the proper treatment and care of animals. This year, we are preparing lectures in the Science Zone and workshops in the Kids’ Zone prepared by the Ja Pacze Sercem Foundation and the Labrador Foundation.
The Ja pacze sercem Foundation – you can find them in hall 5 at booth No. 39 – we cordially invite you to visit the representatives of the foundation and talk about their activities. What’s more, two volunteers from Ja Pacze Sercem, Bartłomiej “Dworkin” Głuszek and Anna “Abelarda” Głuszek, will give a lecture on how to live with a blind cat.
The Labrador Foundation, in turn, will have its booth in the FIG. As part of the cooperation with the Foundation, Sabina Pawlik will give lectures in the Science Zone, you can expect a demonstration of puppy training. The Kids’ Zone will host workshops combining play and learning about assistance dogs (their role, types of dogs, training).

Krewni Pyrkonu 2025 – donate blood, give the gift of life
We are proud to announce that the Krewni Pyrkonu campaign at Pyrkon is already the fourth such campaign planned for this year. But more importantly, it’s not our last word, because giving the gift of life is something worth doing all year round!
However, we would like to present you with some important information about what you can expect to happen during Pyrkon in relation to the Krewni Pyrkony campaign. After all, another edition of this amazing Convention is ahead of us, which, as every year, will attract crowds of fantasy fans from all over Poland! There must be an opportunity to share the gift of life there as well. Support for the campaign will be provided by Drużyny Szpiku and the IFMSA-Poland Poznań branch, and the entire campaign will be carried out by the RCKiK in Poznań – this is a guarantee of professional approach and safety. Join us to combine great fun with a noble goal!
Below is some important information that will make it easier for you to plan the Convention so that you can donate blood at it:
Before donating:
If you have not donated blood yet, please read the conditions that should be met – if you have any doubts, go to the nearest RCKiK and ask for a medical consultation.
Time:
- Friday, June 13, 12:00 noon -05:00 pm, the tent – for logistical reasons, a maximum of 60 people will be accommodated,
- Saturday, June 14, 8:00 am -03:00 pm, the tent – for logistical reasons, a maximum of 240 people will be accommodated,
- Sunday, June 15, 8:00 am -01:00 pm, the tent – for logistical reasons, a maximum of 60 people will be accommodated.
We would also like to remind you that Honorary Blood Donors can benefit from the use of priority ticket offices – these are Special Ticket Offices, which are located in each of the entrances.
Place:
The blood collections will be located in a tent on Plac Marka, next to the Wielki Krewny, near halls 10 and 11.
Acknowledgements
There will be no shortage of small gifts for those who decide to donate blood during Pyrkon. Donors will receive:
- a standard energy pack in the form of chocolate bars and a juice as well as a bag from RCKiK Poznań (only after donating blood).
The remaining gifts will be given to all who donate blood and/or register as potential bone marrow donors:
- Krewni Pyrkonu 2 Card Deck – 27 cards, including 25 playable cards to use in 8 board games and 3 RPGs, most of which have been specially prepared for the needs of this Deck and will be available only in the deck – any details are provided on a separate subpage and on the Planszeo website,

Fantastically Talented – a competition that supports young creators
Fantastically Talented is a unique CSR initiative of Pyrkon, which aims to promote and realistically support young authors working in the field of fantasy, sci-fi, horror, cyberpunk or children’s and youth literature. The competition is addressed to novice authors and people publishing their fourth publication in 2025 at the most.
June 14, at 01:30 pm in the Large Auditorium in the PCC, a gala of the second edition of the competition will be held, hosted by Karol Modzelewski – a journalist, stand-up comedian and literature lover. It is there that we will get to know the winners and the awardee of the Pyrkon-goers Award – as voted by the participants of the Convention.
At the same time, the third edition of the competition has already started – applications are accepted until November 30, 2025. If you create, write, draw – this could be your chance! What’s more, from this edition of the competition on, you can submit your works in as many as three categories! These are: Fantastic Book (novels, novellas, collections of short stories), Fantastic Children’s and Youth Literature (fairy tales, novellas, short stories, illustrated works, poetry books) and Fantastic Comic (miniseries, one-shots, graphic novels, series).

Fantastically Talented is more than a competition – it is our way of supporting and promoting young creators as part of the CSR activities of the Pyrkon Fan Convention. Let’s help the new voices of Polish fantasy leave a mark !
