Fantastic Exhibitions at the Artists and Collectors’ Alley

The Artists and Collectors’ Alley is a unique space brimming with variety. You’ll find numerous exhibitions of works by our guests, their private collections, incredible lectures, and live meet-and-greets with creators! Every artistic soul will feel at home here, and those less artistically inclined will have a fantastic opportunity to take their first steps into the world of art.
Artists, Collectors, and Simply Fantastic Guests
To make sure you don’t miss any of the exciting attractions at the Artists and Collectors’ Alley, we begin by introducing this year’s featured guests. Each of them brings something special to this creative space, helping us build Pyrkon’s world of art and passion.
Roch Urbaniak

A painter from Kraków, author of books, illustrations, and short comic forms. A fan of Star Wars and RPGs. Winner of the Grand Prix at the International Festival of Comics and Games in Łódź, and the Best Artist Award from the European Science Fiction Society. His work is inspired by myths, legends, and broadly understood pop culture.
Meet him at several exciting talks and during autograph and sketch sessions:

Zbigniew M. Bielak
Zbigniew M. Bielak (b. 1980, Kraków) – architect, illustrator, artist. Alongside Radosław Szaybo, he is one of the most internationally recognized Polish designers of music album covers, particularly in the rock and metal genres. He has created visual artwork for legendary bands such as Carcass, Darkthrone, Mayhem, Ghost, Paradise Lost, and even Ice-T’s metal project. He has also worked with Polish groups such as Mgła, Vader, and Gruzja. His stage designs have featured in concerts by Ozzy Osbourne and Ghost.

At the Artists and Collectors’ Alley, you’ll find an exhibition of his works and a curator-led tour to dive deeper into his art.
Radek „DżoDżo” Drozdowicz

He began his YouTube journey in 2012, initially posting videos focused on Rubik’s Cubes. Even today, speedcubing remains a core part of his creative life – he participated in the 2023 World Rubik’s Cube Championship. DżoDżo has also worked with the Friz Team as a cameraman. In recent years, his content has increasingly featured LEGO bricks, and he once served as an ambassador for the Bricks & Figs museum in Kraków.
At Pyrkon, DżoDżo will present his collection in the exhibition titled “The World of Cubes by DżoDżo.”

“Fantastic Collections – Not Necessarily Fantastic” features a set of unique displays where everyone is sure to find something of interest. On the mezzanine of Pavilion 5, you’ll find figurines, miniatures, private collections, and so much more! Set aside some time and come explore a few – or all – of them! 📍 “The World of Cubes by DżoDżo” – Rubik’s Cube collection, cube-solving tutorials, and a collaborative mosaic of 1000 cubes.
📍 The Middle Ages & Polish-Teutonic Conflicts – A spectacular, detail-packed diorama in 1:32 scale, taking you on a journey through medieval Pomerania.

Alchemists of Imagination
But wait – there’s more! We also have the “Alchemists of Imagination” exhibit! A brand-new addition to our festival, showcasing contemporary art in limited editions.

This year at Pyrkon, you’ll see a special exhibition of collectable prints curated by FineArtPrints | Limited Edition. These are carefully selected works by four Polish artists, exhibited on two floors of the PCC – the ground and first floors.
Roch Urbaniak – Colourful, symbolic paintings that tell stories;
Jakub Różalski – A world where folklore meets fantasy and mechs;
Joanna Karpowicz – Nostalgic images with Anubis, evoking closeness;
Sebastian Moń – Industrial landscapes laced with urban melancholy;
In the Children’s Zone, you’ll also find colourful posters by Tadeusz Baranowski and Papcio Chmiel – icons of Polish comics in a fresh, vibrant take.
