A lecture is normally done by one or more people on a subject they propose. So if you want to share your knowledge on any fantasy-related subject with the participants of Pyrkon – you’re in the right place.

A standard lecture is 45-50 minutes long, thanks to the fact that they all start on the hour, it leaves 10-15 minutes for the participants to leave the room and new ones to enter. For the Kids Section and the Beginners Section, a standard lecture is 20 minutes long, as is the case with lightning talks in the Role-Play Zone.

You should have all the materials you will be using during your lecture e.g. a presentation, printouts, dice. Computers are available in lecture halls, but it is better to have your presentation offline.

If it’s a regular lecture, we suggest two speakers. Our experience shows that such lectures are more dynamic and may be more appealing for the participants. The maximum number of speakers giving one lecture is 4. If you have a more elaborate activity in mind, please e-mail a section manager directly to discuss the details.

In case there is a necessity to make a correction, please contact the manager of the section you sent your proposal for. The manager’s e-mail address can be found in a confirmation e-mail received after submitting the form.

Let us know as soon as possible! Send an e-mail to program(at)pyrkon.pl, it will require us to find a replacement from a standby list.

You will receive information about the final status of your application by the end of March.

You can collect your badge at a designated ticket counter at the northen entrance. The ticket needs to be collected in person and will be handed over after presenting your ID.

If you have problem with your program event and/or your badge, contact your program manager. Their contact details are included in the e-mail you received.
