The winner of last year’s Masquerade as a speaker in the Far East Fantasy Section!
Do you know that something amazing can happen to you at Pyrkon? You might just bump into your spiritual twin who, just like you, can talk about one book for hours, you could meet the love of your life, or find a unique collectible at the Vendors’ Hall that you’ve dreamed of for years. There are so many possibilities! You might, like Anna “Nona” Nowicka, a speaker in the Far East Fantasy Section, come across a whole new hobby that will come to dominate your life.
Master of Engineering with a rich imagination
A cosplayer who works under the banner of NONA Industries, and who started down the path of cosplay at Pyrkon 2015. In her day job she’s an electronics engineer and CAD designer, with an MSc in Engineering Mechatronics. After work, she devotes every free moment to creating costumes, learning more about existing techniques and finding new challenges for herself. She is mostly known for her electronics-heavy costumes: from programmable lighting to mechanized elements.
Award-winning ramen fan
Her cosplaying achievements include: the Grand Prix at the Pyrkon 2017 Masquerade (Program Camille from League of Legends) and the main prize in the cosplay contest at the Poznań Game Arena 2016 (Mettaton from Undertale). She has been a speaker at several conventions, speaking about techniques in costume creation and cosplay electronics. When she’s got a free moment, she goes out for ramen and tries not to design new outfits for at least a second.
