Hundreds of lectures, concerts, games and lots of fun, and all this with the far east vibe here’s what will be happening in the Manga and Anime Zone during Pyrkon 2023
Manga and anime zone at Pyrkon 2023
Is it your first Pyrkon ever? Or another one of many? As every year, the Manga and Anime Zone has prepared a ton of activities for you!
More space means even more fun
This year’s edition is special because the Zone is growing! We are moving from hall 11 to a much larger hall 7, which means more space and even more attractions, which include a variety of program events, concerts and anime screenings!
However, it doesn’t end there, because the tentacles of the Manga and Anime Zone reach out much, much further than that! You will find themed attractions in different parts of Pyrkon. More than 20 chibi zones await you in the aforementioned hall 7 on the first floor, each with many permanent and temporary attractions. There will also be a Stage set up there with extraordinary events organized by the creators of the attractions in the Chibi Zones and our guests.
On the first floor of the hall, you will find two lecture halls, one of which is completely dedicated to the program events you submitted.
We have also prepared for you a 3rd lecture hall, which is located in the PCC (formerly hall 15)
Don’t forget to visit our Integration Zone this year, where music games such as DDR, Ultrastar and slot machines straight out of Japan await you.
And if you prefer concerts, you will also be able find something to your liking at Pyrkon. Mili band, who you may know as authors of the music to “Goblin Slayer” will play for you in the Earth Hall, and on the Outdoor Stage you will have the chance to listen to performances by Nanokarrin, Hibike Chamber Choir and Luna Haruna, who has sung songs for such series as “Sword Art Online” and “Saenai Heroine no Sodatekata.” PF
Don’t forget that fantastic meetings are an integral part of Pyrkon, so get ready for an autograph session at the PCC with the Mili band and Luna Haruna!
In addition, Mili will have a Q&A session on stage in hall 7, which you simply cannot miss, and there will also be a photo session with the band with the PCC walls serving as the background.
That’s a lot, isn’t it? And that’s not all we have in stock for you!

The domestic Manga and Anime fandom also has a lot to offer. There will be 3 well-known names on the list of guests from Poland, and their names are all Wojtek (coincidence? We think not);
- Wojciech Jasiocha of Fantastyczna Karczma, who has been running his YouTube channel for more than two years now
- Wojciech “Spychu91” Spychalski provides reviews, analysis and overviews of news in the Japanese animation industry on his channel.
- Wojciech “L3siu” Lesiak, creator of the Animelogia project
Let’s watch anime together!
Anime fans who like to spend time in front of the screen, be sure to visit our Outdoor Cinema. During this year’s Pyrkon, we will watch the film “Goblin Slayer: Goblin’s Crown” courtesy of Animagia Publishing House.
In addition, at night you are invited to “Crunchyroll presents” anime screenings in the M&A rooms in halls 7 and 11. There you will see the first episodes of anime from the current season, as well as feature films from popular series.
In addition, in cooperation with the Animator Festival, you will see a preview of Keiichi Hara’s film entitled “Lonely Castle in The Mirror” at night. You may know him from his other works, such as “Colorful” and “Miss Hokusai.”
A photo studio for everyone!
What’s a trip without any photos to keep as souvenirs? In the Manga and Anime Zone you will find a photo studio and a wall where you and your friends can snap photos! The likeness of our mascot in the festival colors will also be there!
Mascots? How so? This year we can boast a girl who will represent the M&A Zone. She is not named yet, so we are counting on your creativity during the convention to come up with something!
